Being an American and native English speaker living in Japan, I have the opportunity to get involved on a deep level with many university students. The young man in the picture is an English Literature major who wants to spend extra time studying English. 

 

The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering allows me to provide a context where this university student can hear and respond to the Holy Spirit’s voice by using the English Bible to help him gain more English knowledge. More importantly, his study of the Bible helps him know the One who created him.
